About the Book:
The Book I Did [not] Write is a story written during the "Method Writing" course. Short texts came together one after another to form a cohesive whole. The story is entirely fictional, except for the name of the village Kolomytse and the addresses and establishments in the city of Dnipro.
It's the story of Maya, who wants to learn to write in a way that gets her published. But first, Maya needs to find herself and her voice. Isn't that a classic? It's a coming-of-age story for adults, about parents, family, friends, and just a little bit about love. It's a story where footnotes matter. It's funny and not funny at the same time. But more funny, actually.
